Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of AgenBase ("we", "us"), a service that lets you build AI chatbots from your own documents and embed them on your website. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and be at least 18 years old or the age of majority where you live. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for the people you invite to your organization.

2. The service

You upload documents, web pages and text ("Your Content"). We process them to build a chatbot that answers questions from that content. You can embed the chatbot on websites you control. The answers are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for checking that the chatbot's behavior is appropriate for your business, and you should not rely on it for legal, medical or financial advice.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to Your Content. You give us a limited license to store, process and send it to our service providers solely to run the service for you. You promise that you have the right to upload it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use AgenBase to:

  • break the law or infringe the rights of others;
  • send spam, malware or deceptive content;
  • collect personal data from visitors without the notice and consent the law requires;
  • attempt to disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or work around plan limits;
  • build a chatbot that impersonates a person or organization without permission.

You are responsible for informing your website visitors that they are talking to an AI and for how you use the conversations and leads you collect.

5. Plans, usage and billing

Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Each plan includes a number of chatbot messages per month. Messages above that amount on a paid plan are billed per message at the rate shown on the pricing page, up to a safety limit, after which the chatbot stops answering until the next billing period. The free plan has a hard limit and no overage.

Payments are handled by our payment provider, Polar, which acts as the merchant of record. Prices exclude taxes unless stated; applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. If a change is significant we will notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

7. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use puts the service or others at risk, or if payment fails and is not resolved. When an account is closed we delete Your Content within a reasonable period, except where we must keep information by law.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
